Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 August 2026

1. Who we are

GanttFlow is a software product operated by Vishal Gungah, an individual sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. In these terms, "we", "us", and "GanttFlow" mean the operator, and "you" means the person using the product. You can reach us any time at support@ganttflow.ca.

2. What GanttFlow is

GanttFlow is a web-based tool for building project timelines and Gantt charts and exporting them as images and PDFs. We offer it on a free plan and on paid plans. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product develops.

From time to time we may release a feature marked "beta," "preview," or "early access." Those features are provided as-is, may be incomplete or contain errors, may change, and may be discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Your account

You need an account to use GanttFlow. Accounts are handled by our authentication provider, Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@ganttflow.ca if you think someone else has access to it. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One account is for one person — please don't share logins.

4. Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing and lets you build one project stored locally in your browser, with a small GanttFlow watermark on image exports.

Pro costs $12 CAD per month or $99 CAD per year. It adds cloud sync across devices, unlimited projects, sub-lanes for nesting phases inside a lane, custom chart colours with one-click theme presets, baseline tracking, JSON project export, and watermark-free PNG and PDF export.

Lifetime costs $249 CAD as a single payment and includes everything in Pro for as long as the product exists.

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal inside the app. Refunds are covered separately in our Refund Policy.

We may change our prices. If we change the price of a plan you're already on, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you'd rather not continue.

5. Your content

The projects, timelines, names, dates, and any other data you put into GanttFlow are yours. We don't claim any ownership of them. You give us permission to store, process, and display that data only to the extent needed to run the product for you — for example, saving your project to our database so it syncs to your other devices.

You can export your projects as JSON files at any time on Pro and Lifetime plans. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your project data too.

6. Intellectual property

The GanttFlow name, logo, site design, and the underlying code, are owned by us and protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to any of that beyond what's needed to use the product as intended. This is separate from your content, covered above — we own GanttFlow the product, not what you build with it.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use GanttFlow for anything illegal, or to store content you don't have the right to store;
  • try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or get around our plan limits, rate limits, or paywalls;
  • resell or redistribute access to GanttFlow, or use it to build a directly competing product;
  • scrape, crawl, spider, or otherwise automatically collect content from the site beyond what our published robots.txt allows, or extract our content in bulk by any other automated means;
  • frame, mirror, or republish the site, or any part of it, on another domain;
  • use content from the site to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a machine-learning or AI model;
  • upload malware, or use the service to attack anyone.

We can suspend or close an account that's doing any of the above. If we do that and it wasn't warranted, we'll refund any unused portion of what you paid.

8. Availability

We work hard to keep GanttFlow up, but this is a product built and run by one person. We don't promise any specific uptime, and there may be downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or problems with the services we build on. Pro and Lifetime plans can export a full JSON backup of any project at any time — keep your own copy of anything important.

We're also not responsible for delays or failures caused by things reasonably beyond our control — outages at our providers, natural disasters, war, internet backbone failures, or similar events.

9. Ending things

You can stop using GanttFlow and close your account at any time. We can end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the product. If we discontinue GanttFlow entirely, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice by email so you can export your work, and we'll refund the unused portion of any active subscription.

10. Services we rely on

GanttFlow runs on services from other companies — currently Vercel (hosting), Clerk (accounts and login), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), Upstash (rate limiting), Sentry (error monitoring), and Resend (email delivery). Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We're not responsible for outages or failures on their side, though of course we'll do what we reasonably can to work around them.

11. No warranty

GanttFlow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the product will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

12. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of GanttFlow. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to GanttFlow is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50 CAD, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of GanttFlow, your content, or your violation of these terms or of someone else's rights.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is significant, we'll email account holders and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use GanttFlow after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

Before filing anything formal, please email support@ganttflow.ca and give us 30 days to sort it out — most things are easier to fix than to litigate. Any dispute that does go further is handled individually; it isn't brought as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action, to the extent the law allows.

16. General

You can't assign your rights under these terms to someone else without our written consent. We can, including as part of a sale, merger, or transfer of GanttFlow. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about GanttFlow, and replace any earlier understanding on the subject.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms? Email support@ganttflow.ca and we'll get back to you.
